Is there a plugin or download available for extra effects? For example, if I wanted to add a lion's roar to an animated lion. Or, I want to add a punching sound to someone punching or being punched?

There are lots of sound effects sites on the web where you can buy individual or collections of sound effects. You can import any wav, mp3, or other sound file MEP supports into the program in the same way you import video files. Just make sure that if you want to make a video for commercial use (Intend to make a profit from video in any way) that it is either royalty free or you have bought a version that has a commercial licence that allows you to use it in such a way. I have a library of sounds I recorded myself over the years that I use if I need them.
