Delete tracks?

Zkuggi wrote on 2/17/2019, 2:36 AM

I feel very stupid having to bring this to the forum.

But I cannot see a simple way to delete a track once I decide not to use it. It is easy enough to add a track. Just pressthe "add track" plus sign or do it through a right click. But how can one remove tracks?

And while on that topic. Can the tracks be re-arranged in order?

Thanks.

Hi

. . . . I cannot see a simple way to delete a track . . . Can the tracks be re-arranged in order . . . .

Empty tracks do no take up any space in the project file, just screen space, however to delete a track click the down arrow just to the left of the + sign, there are several track operations available - delete being one of them.

To move a track you Cut and Paste it using the options under the down arrow..

Thank you johnebaker for quick answers.

I simply do not have these options in my version of Video X Pro.

This is how my menu looks when I press the down arrow. I have add track and then I can adjust height. But I do not have any copy paste or delete options.

My version is Video Pro 10X 16.0.1.255 (Steam edition)

@Zkuggi

Hi

. . . . 16.0.1.255 (Steam edition) . . . .

You are running an older version of VPX - the current version is 16.0.2.306 you are missing several patches/upgrade.

If you cannot update I would guess your subscription (Update) service has run out.
