Music Maker Fanatical edition

Music Maker Plus 2021

I bought the music maker bundle on fanatical. It was called the fanatical edition. It came with some free stuff. I decided I wanted to upgrade to Plus because I wanted an instrument and it would only be a $15 difference. After activating with the new serial nothing comes up for credits in the soundpool. Its dawned on me now that the "fanatical" edition must have been the plus edition? So am I out of luck and need to hope for a refund?
