I down loaded the Trial for Video Pro X. I like how it works with proxy files on my slower laptop. I have used pro editors in the past before HD came along, so I was a little disappointed in lack of features in Pro X. So... I got an email with a discount for Edit Pro Plus and I noticed the editor looked very similar if not the same, to Pro X. So... I got the trial for that, and other than no trimming window for imported files, (it's better without it on a small screen) or an imported files window, the program is the same! Do they not give a trial of the real Pro X? What's going on? I want a robust editor. I don't have a mac, so Final Cut is out. I don't want to pay a lot for Pro X if it is no better than Edit Plus. Do they both encode with the same export quality? Where is it listed the differences between the editors? Thanks.
