Hi

. . . . disk space for project when burning selection is selected? . . .

MEP already does show you the calculated disc space for burning to disc as shown in this image

And for Exporting the video the estimated file size is shown as in the image below

. . . . program should calculate is it possible to burn to the disk what is in disk drive . . .

When MEP finds that the video is too big to fit on a disk - which must be empty and writeable, ie you cannot write to a partially written disk  and add more later - then it warns you and asks you what you want to do.

Hi,

Thank's for your answer. Other question: is function "Encoder settings..."(on the picture) for matching if movie's size is bigger than disk? Change bit speed it is able to burn bigger movie than disk space allows?

Hi

. . . . Change bit speed it is able to burn bigger movie than disk space allows? . . .

That is correct - if the movie is too big for the disc, the bitrate can be lowered to decrease the size of the movie, the adjustment does to lose quality, how far depends on what you find acceptable.

I always adjust this to the maximum, which will just fill a disk, for up to 2 hours of movie, longer than this I use double layer disks.
