Although I own my server to upload Data I usually just provide a Generic URL address for the Download side. Does Magix offer HTML for a 'Video Player Template' or anything like that? Thank You ...

For Magix: Running Windows 10 Professional 64 bit - Dell Precision Workstation 3620 - i7 7700K 4.20 GHz Processor - 32GB Memory - (onboard video), Asus PCI Sound Card - iGPU - Two Twin esata 2TB External Drives. @CarpentersMate

Hi

. . . . MEP 2016 Plus Offer An FTP Uploader And 'Player' Software . . .

All versions of MEP have a Share function however it will only upload to the options available ie normally Vimeo, Facebook and Youtube. They do not have an FTP up-loader where you can specify your own website as the target for uploading. It is also likely that the uploader in older versions will not work, in particular for Youtube as they have changed there 'up-loader' and they it is no longer compatible with MEP 2016.

I use FileZilla for uploading exported video and web sites I create - it is very robust and reliable.

A player is not necessary, all modern browsers and mobile devices support the HTML5 video tag which is best used with the mp4 stream-able file format for maximum compatibility with devices - this has already been discussed in one of your previous topics.

Hi John EB - How ya doin? Sorry I forgot our previous discussion regarding HTML for a player? Yes I also use FileZilla for the web site - its works nicely. I'd like to explore the insert of some HTML for a player with regard to an intriguing story I'm writing about a strafing attack on Rommel. I personally don't upload to You Tube but use Vimeo for some clips. I need to research/update compatible HTML for a player. I'll definitely try the link you provided. BTW John EB how long have you been with Magix? Something tells me your a senior guy? 😎

Thank You
