DRIVER DOWNLOAD

jonathan-m wrote on 11/26/2025, 4:00 AM

Hi, I'm looking for the correct driver download for Magix Rescue your videotapes 2008 for Windows 11. I have already installed the video grabber using the workaround, but it needs the correct drivers as it appears in the device manager under other devices with exclamation mark. Once I have installed the correct drivers for this device for windows 11, I'm confident the Magix vhs to dvd conversion software will download & install successfully on my laptop & I have the serial no. available on the installation disc. Please help with the correct driver update link for Triebel (I think) & any other helpful advice & tips will be most appreciated. Thanks !

Hi

See this comment and the following comments.

Though the device referred to is the K0065, the drivers are the same for the K0067, they may also work with the older red/white capture device if that is the one you have.

The installation should proceed without the device drivers.

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately the driver update did not work. My capture device is not red or white, just black with the Magix name on it & with the 4 cables attached with the yellow, white, red & black pins. In the device manager under "other devices - unknown device", the property details indicate as follows: "USB\VID_EB1A&PID_2861&MI_00\7&290AB1D&1&0000". It seems that the actual software for the video capture/conversion will not install unless the capture device itself isn't properly installed with the correct drivers. I'm not sure if Windows 11 is preventing the installation, as it is 2008 software but should still work surely, even with a workaround. Please can you assist me further with this matter? Many thanks.

@jonathan-m Here are the links to updated drivers. But it could very well be the case that these are no longer compatible with Windows 11.

You can get pretty affordable USB video grabbers on websites like Amazon. These one should work fine with modern video editing software like Magix Video Deluxe 2026. Then you'll have software and hardware that works on Windows 11.

Video Converter Premium - Download Driver https://my.hidrive.com/lnk/FCAqGVxG

Video Converter Red - Download Driver https://my.hidrive.com/lnk/1ZAKGalW

Video Converter Black - Download Driver https://dl03.magix.net/magix_usb_video_driver_black_int.zip

Extract the entire directory to any folder.

Close your antivirus software.

Right-click on the "Setup.exe" file.

Click "Run as administrator."

The drivers will now be installed.

If drivers are already installed on your PC, first select "Remove" and then restart the driver installation.

It seems that the actual software for the video capture/conversion will not install unless the capture device itself isn't properly installed with the correct drivers.

No extra software is needed. You only need the grabber installed via the driver package (which would normally be done when you install VideoEasy (the program that comes in the RVT package).

I have installed VE (a recent version) and used a third-party grabber. Or, as SP says, you can use Video Deluxe. In fact, I would highly recommend that. VideoEasy is the cheap, crippled cousin. VDL has many features which make editing your tape captures better.

If your RYVT is from 2008, I suspect that it will not run on Win 11. 17 years is a long time in software terms. While many old programs do run, I'm sure there are some that don't.
