Magix Movie Edit Pro 2016 Plus on PC using Windows 10, version 1803. Successfully burned a DVD and then attempted to burn the remaining chapters onto a second disk and got this error.

From the log file:

Have tried several work arounds, but this software just will not burn for some reason. So strange. Your help is appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, please read this post and give us all the information requested there.

Second, can you also explain more fully exactly what it is you are attempting to do? Mention of

burn the remaining chapters onto a second disk

suggests you are working on a DVD export which MEP has indicated is too long for a single DVD and you have chosen the option to allow the software to burn it across two discs. Is that correct?

If so, you may have to wait for a reply from someone who has actually tried to do this. I have never needed to do so, preferring instead to create an Image which can then be burned to a dual-layer disc. (Use of the Image Recorder option also means you do not create a series of unplayable discs, often referred to as "coasters"!)
