"Edit effect curve" does not seem t do anything.

Former user wrote on 9/15/2021, 4:52 AM

I am using MEP Premium 21.01.85

I have an effects curve set up for an effect (for instance, Audio volume). When I click on "Edit effect curve" as per attached image, nothing happens.

I tried this on a video effect as well (brightness), same thing

Is this a bug or is there something I need to do before something happens?

I am looking at page page 121 of te MEP 2022 Premium PDF manual for guidance.

Note: The same thing happens on Video Pro X11

I am wondering if this a leftover thing from a previous version.

Thanks for that.

It definitely does not produce that box in MEP 2022. I even moved the individual MEP windows around to see if it’s hiding..... nada!

Looks like I am dropping a note to Magix support.

@Former user

Hi,

Note: The same thing happens on Video Pro X11

Do you mean that in VPX11 you don't get the Volume interface shown by Alwyn?

I don't have VPX11 anymore, but it works in both VPX12 and 13 but sometimes the window pops up in strange places, like partially off the bottom of one of my displays (I have VPX on 2 displays).

Did you try doing F9 then opening the effects curve window?

Note: in VPX13, I get the audio object curves, but not video effects curves.

That is correct. In VPX11 I don't get the Volume interface.

I tried F9 in MP2022 and VPX11 - Nada

Upon further research, it appears to be when the content window to too far to the left, the "Edit effect curve" has no place to appear.

I flicked a support request to Magix. They are going to get their devs to look into it.
