Edit Pro premium 2014 lags

I have a i7 Chip with 24gigs of ram on Win7 64Bit.that I run Pro Tools HD with no problem what so ever. In magix it works fine with a few videos and titles but when I export to Mpeg4 most of the time the audio is out of sync.

Now, I'm editing a music video with around 15 tracks and it stutters, freezes then starts again.

I'm thinking that my computer is fast enough to run this without any issues.

Thanks, Eric.

Hi

. . . . I'm editing a music video with around 15 tracks and it stutters, freezes then starts again.

I assume you mean 15 tracks of HD video - if so then your computer is going to struggle - the amount of processing required for preview is extremely high.

If you have not done so turn on Automatically create proxy files in the projects settings this will improve the preview playback. - note it will take some time to create the proxy files.

. . . . when I export to Mpeg4 most of the time the audio is out of sync . . . .

Is your MEP 2014 ptched to the latest available?

Have you checked the option use Hardware acceleration. . . . in the programs settings and checked the option to Calculate video effects on the GPU in the export dialog - if so turn it off the option in the export dialog and try the export again.

HTH

John.
