Editing problem -- duplicate items

I am using MEP 2013. Putting together a video, I suddenly get duplicate images in the preview screen. This appears no matter what video I am working on. How do I get rid of it?

By duplicate images in the preview screen I presume you mean the same image side by side?

I suspect you have accidentaly put the previwe monitor in to 3D side by side mode.

Click the red/blue glasses icon top left of the preview monitor and select Standard (2D)
