editing title text

Louis-Storrow wrote on 2/11/2021, 7:49 PM

How do I change the font/size of individual lines within a title slide? I feel like i've done it before but can't get it to work now. I've gone into templates, selected one and entered text, but all of the text in the slide changes together. I've used "T" from the editing bar to initiate a title but the same editor comes up and does the same thing.

How is this done?

Hi,

Open the title so that it is open in the Preview Monitor. Highlight just the text that you want to change font/size/colour and make changes in the title interface. Click the checkmark in the title box to close the title. This cannot be done by highlighting in the title area in title interface - only in the title box in the Preview Monitor.

I'm finding this works for font and color, but not for type size. (Current MEP version.)

I also tried it with two title windows, as shown below. I want the date to be smaller, but I can't get this to work. I even began the second title window on the same line as the first and under another video object. If I change the size of either one, the other one also changes.

In fact, when I have two or more Titles in a video, and I change the size of one, the size indicator of the others also change to the size I made the first one. Sometimes the size of the displayed font itself changes, sometimes it stays as it was. In MEP versions going back several years, I was able to get different font sizes.

Is there something, like maybe an option, which I missed?

Hi Kami

Works fine on MEP 2021 v29.0.1.80 - did you watch the video in the linked to comment I posted above.

Which font template are you starting with?

Hi

Please do not hijack another users post, I have hidden your comment as the issue you have has nothing to do with the subject of this topic which is about titling.

Please create a new post and give more details.
