Either I get audio and no video or video and no audio

I've been happily editing away when the following problem came up. I can hear the audio and not see the video. Or I can see the video and not hear the audio. I've reset everything back to default. I've made sure my tracks are unlocked. I am using the 2021 version of Movie Edit Pro Premium.

@Danute

Hi and welcome to the user to user forums.

Please give your complete system specifications, Processor make and model number, amount of ram, hard drive size and amount of free space on the C: drive, Windows version and build number and graphics driver versions.

It is difficult to give answers to questions that do not give us a clue as to what may be happening.

So also are you mixing video clips from different sources or file types? If so can you download a free program called MediaInfo and read and copy the text view from that program of the affected files and post the results here to see if the files are compatible with Movie Edit Pro.

It is odd this should suddenly happen unless something has changed. Either a Windows update or the file types have possibly changed but there also may be an underlying problem.

Ray.
