Enable fast forward/rewind in DVD creation

I've created a DVD using the DVD feature in Movie Edit Pro 2021 and when I went to play it back on the Xbox One S I keep getting a red "Not Allowed" symbol when trying to fast forward or rewind the video.

I did try and search for an answer to this and some people say you need to enable this feature as it's disabled by default - but where on earth have Magix hid this feature (and why would it be disabled by default anyway?? Fast forwarding and rewinding is something you usually want to be able to do with a DVD).

I've searched through the program manuals and can find no reference to this - all I seem to get is references to what the rewind and forward buttons do in the actual program - which isn't what I'm looking for!!

The Magix Movie Edit Pro I'm using is Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium, version 20.0.1.80(UDP3) UG code 8453 KA1
with Windows 10 Pro version 2004 (OS Build 19041.867)

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core

GPU - Radeon RX580

RAM - 16Gb DDR4

DVD Burner - Pioneer BD-RW BDR-212D

These are the only options I can find and none mention about fast forwarding or rewinding - the only one I can find is on "intro video" which says "prevent skipping" but I haven't got an intro video and that's unticked anyway.

@Darren-Forster

Hi

There is no setting in Movie Edit pro to prevent fast forward\reverse in the video in the player, except for the skipping of the intro movie if one is present. If the player cannot fast forward/reverse then that is an issue with the player not Movie Edit Pro.

What I suspect you are wanting is Chapters so you can skip to specific sections of the program - see the PDF manual under Help about Chapters and how to set them - when burning the disc MEP takes care of the chapter page automatically.
