when i finished my movies and i want to burn both my movies on one disk, i adapt bit rate but at the end it tells me i still have to shortern my project or use a bigger dvd. But i adapted my bit rate and it said that i have enough space on my disk ofr both movies

Hi there,
what that message does not consider is the size of the menu you are using, and these can get quite substantial at times. Also, 4.7GB disk size is not really true, the discs average only 4.38GB. Diffferent ways of measuring this accounts for this confusion.
Just a though, but if after you've checked without the menu/ or simple menu, and it still doesn't fit, you could probably burn a dual layer disc rather than reduce quality. Depends on your version, but it's been possible for quite a few versions now, as long as your burner plays ball too. Cheers, M o' L.
