Encountered an improper argument

I have MEP2015 Plus and I imported a 4K 3840x2160 32.98fps .mov video shot with a Panasonic GH4. When I export it to a QuickTime Movie using the Photo-JPEG codec,  I get a Capture Module dialog box that says "Encountered an improper argument". I have tried the export with both 23.98fps and 24fps, neither works. I also tried a MPEG4 same problem. I can import this 4k clip to a 1080 timeline and export as a 1080 QT Movie using the Photo-JPEG codec with no problems. My system is an Intel Core i5, 8Gb memory, Win 7 Pro.

Hi

I have tested exporting with your settings and have no problems.

Is your QT up to date?

Do you have any 'All in one' codec packs installed?

Is there a particular reason you need to use the Photo-JPEG codec instead of the H.264?

The difference in quality between the two is virtually indistinguishable, the Photo-jpeg codec cannot not offer any image improvement better than what is contained in the original video and the down side is that you end up with bigger file sizes.

John,

Germany is also working on it, but no answer or fix yet. So far the tech thinks it might be a codec problem. I can pull the 4K clip to a 1080 timeline and create a 1080 QT Movie using Photo-JPEG or H.264 no problem.

The main reason I need Photo-JEPG is that I upload video to Pond5 and this is the only codec they will accept other than ProRes which I can't generate on a PC.

I don't have any "All in one" codec packs installed.
