Error 14 Serial nr doesn't work

Hello

I purchased Vegas Movie Studio 17 Suite. After I installed it on my laptop it never opened. I had problem report "Movie Studio Platinum has stopped working" .

I wrote an email to support team and one of the representatives was trying to resolve it with me, leading me through several steps to fix it. Unfortunately it didn't work, and at some point my ticket has been closed before I gave any feedback.

Yes, maybe it took me several days to respond but I simply have many other things to do☹

I supposed to refresh my software holding down Ctrl+Shift and double click programs icon. I do know why, but it did not reset when I was doing it. Since my ticket was already closed I was not able to contact them again.

 

I decided to uninstall program from my computer and install it again. I don't even know if it works now, because serial nr I entered does not activate it anymore. It shows Error 14. I checked many times, there was no typos and this is the nr for Movie Studio 17 not for other programs I got with it as bonus.

I can't contact support anymore, and on web site where they are directing me I can't find redolution for my problem.

What can I do when Error 14 appears?

I would actually like to return it and get refund. I am sick and tired trying to fix it for hours. I am wasting so much time with it. If it can not work I do not want it... Return Policy says that online purchased items are non refundable... Is that even a thing? I received software which does not work since day 1😭

Soo, maybe somebody here could tell me why my serial nr doesn't work after I reinstalled program?
