I copied and pasted the serial number but I keep getting the same error message.

Is the error before or after installation? What version?? Was your product activated/registered before, or on another PC??? Where was it downloaded from???? Other details?????

The error was after installation. Not downloaded on any other pc. I am a first time user.

Error code -14 usually means you're putting a valid MAGIX serial number into the wrong MAGIX product or version/edition. See this Support article for more information.
Check that you have downloaded the correct product/version for the serial number you have.
