Error code -14 on new install

I am attempting to install Movie Edit Pro 2016 on a new computer, however when I input the serial number it comes up with "Error code: -14" telling me "The serial number you entered is invalid or may apply to another product."

This is the third machine I am installing the program on, and I am aware there is a limit of 2. So I have gone onto My Account on magix.com and gone through My Products to deactivate one of the previous installs. This has gone through and now shows one of my activations is free and ready to use. However I am still getting Error code: -14 when entering my serial number.

Is there anything else I can do? Movie Edit Pro 2016 has been really helpful for my projects and it's easy to use, but I cannot afford to purchase it again for a new computer.

I winder whether this is simply a case that the database that holds the details of your activations has not yet updated to the status shown on your account screen?

Perhaps try again in a few hours?
