Error in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum version 16.0.0.175

After updating to latest version of Windows 10 (24 april 2021) the Movie Studio Platinum fails to add video clips (m2ts files) as Project Media. I tried to open an old project containing video clips that I rendered before the latest update of Windows 10 and also this project now fails to start. When I opened the project I got an error message after 40% of opening procedure.

I use a powerful Acer Predator G3 computer with Intel core i7 and NVIDIA Geforce GTX.

Is my Vegas Movie Studio Platinum version 16.0.0.175 not compatible with latest update of Windows 10 Version 2004 (OS version 19041.928)?

Can you tell us how you came to this forum? We are getting many users of Vegas Pro and Vegas Movie Studio arriving here only to be re-directed to the correct forum.
