error messages when trying to burn DVD

sunflower61502 wrote on 12/14/2014, 2:08 PM

When I first started to attempt to burn the movie to a DVD, hours would go by and it wouldn't seem to be making any progress.  Now when I start to try to burn the movie, I keep getting error messages.

1.  error encoding movie

2.  could not create temporary file, memory error

I'm using Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 plus

Windows 8.1

Hi

Can you post the section of the error log from the start of the Burn porcess to the line that includes the error.

Hi

Is this a project with a single timeline?

How long is the movie?

How much free hard disc space do you have?

Unfortunately a section of the error log is required - the section starts with the date and time as shown in the example below

-------------------------- 09.12.2014 09:58:45 --------------------------

Up to and including the section you have provided.

John

No, it is not a single timeline.

The movie is about 90 mins.

I have plenty of hard disc space.

How do I go back and get the log from that error?

I get the same error on my copy. I think it is a problem that MEP15 had when it was first released. Magix put out a patch to fix that one. We may need to contact Magix tech support.

I am getting the same error message, but have been burning much shorter videos without problem, have reduced the bit rate the video is about 70 mins long
