Export video size

Which type is best to export to avi, mpeg, qt, etc. and which is the smallest file size?

More specific: Just to create a video for youtube...and I don't want the file to be huge.

It depends on what your final goal is. As concerns the size of the file:

1. AVI is just a container the video codec you use will determine the compression.
