I go into file, go into export movie, scroll down to video as MPEG 4, page come up with settings which are as follows: reolution 1280*720, frame rate 25,aspwct ratio 16.9, Stereo 3D: 2D, Format Dicription, MPEG 4(MP4) software, Video 1280*720; 25 Frames/s;H.264{2-Pass modw}5000 kbits/s. Audio 48000 Hz, Srereo; AAC Size estimate 5852 kByte

File name and storage/

File is going to where I want it to go.

Other

Export selected range only, this is ticked

Calculate video effect on Cpu/ this is ticked

Play after export, this says ' don't play out

In the video I saw on The internet the Cpu line at the bottom of the sreen says making video I don.t get that I suppos not because my computer freezes, my computer is a good speck with the next to top processer and I'm running 8 GB Ram.

Can anyone help please

Hi Michael

. . . . Calculate video effect on Cpu/ this is ticked . . .

I never use the that option on the export dialog - I found that if this is checked and hardware acceleration is turned in in the program settings then I get problems with mp4's as you have found.

Hi,

See this video file: http://www.profmarcel.com/Magix/Magixyoutube1.mp4

I just made a tutorial is a French version but I use an English version Magix Pro Edit 17. May be this help you also you can use as PRESETS EXPORT FlashPlayer 1280x720 H.264 25 FPS also uncheck HTML Export as website.

Wait until the compilation or rendering done 100% this can take many minutes. (botton of your screen from left to right.)

Regards,

Export selected range only, this is ticked

An obvious point: does the range cover the entire project? For me at least, the usual setting when I'm exporting a finished project is to leave that unchecked.
