Hi

Check your version number of the program under Help, About Magix. . . . .

The version number should be 14.0.0.162 - if it is lower then this you are missing a patch.

Your computer spec would help - in particular what graphics card / chipset you are using and whether you are using the MainConcept encoder or the Intel encoder.

you can see which as shown below

Also in the same dialog do you have the Calculate video effects on GPU checked?  If so try exporting without it.

Thanks for the reply John,

My version is 14.0.0.160 so I'll try and find the patch you mention.

Computer Spec:

Dell Alienware m17x

Windows 7 Home Premium

Intel i7-4700MQ 2.40 GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M - I can switch between this and the intel one but have the nvidia always on when using Magix.

8GB Ram

On the mpeg4 export settings window it shows the same settings as you have shown below.

Also I never have Calculate video effects on GPU checked...should I have it checked?

So I'll find and try the patch and report back.

Thanks again.

John

Try using the Intel integrated HD graphics, the issue may be with the Mainoncept encoder using the NVidia card.

. . . . Also I never have Calculate video effects on GPU checked...should I have it checked? . . . .

I too never use that option - in previous versions with a CUDA card I found it caused issues.  Leave it unchecked if you have Hardware acceleration turned on in the programs settings.

Thanks John, I'll try that and let you know if I'm still having a problem.
