In addition to what @browj2 wrote, when you clicked on Help>Install additional content you should have seen this screen. Mine is "blank" because I have already installed all the available content.

If you click the highlighted button, you should then see this screen

(Every item is ticked because I already have them installed.) You can also see it says "Installed on..." against each line.

If you see the same then everything is installed! You will not see anything "extra" on any "menu" because many of the items are added to existing menu lists.

Ok Dear John. Thank you so much for your answer. That's right, I do the download of some products and they are confirmed as "installed" as you can see.. for example,... MAGIX Travel Maps...This was hesgterday... and as I do not find any manner to have access in order to made the program run, because nothing appears on the menus giving me the possibility to run the MAPS... The question is, Where are these prgrams installed..? Or may be I need to do some special procedure to bring it running... ?

With the exception of Travel Maps, which can be run as a standalone, everything is within the program under the effects and templates tabs; these are not separate programs. For example, under titles in the Templates tab, you will now have access to a lot of title template categories and templates. Etc.

How about this issue? I click download and restart and this download button is still there every time. I cannot seem to find the new content. Thanks!

Welcome to the Magix forums, and to one of the most annoying problems with VPX!

I see exactly the same, albeit with different downloads. I click to download, they seem to do so and install. But, after a shutdown and restart, once more the button is there! I've never been able to discover why, or how to persuade the download to stay!! The problem also occurs in Music Maker.

Sometimes, eventually these downloads DO stick. I've just checked my installation of VPX11 and there are no downloads "waiting". But in Music Maker about 3 soundpools require a new download every time I open the program. 😱

Thanks. I guess I will have to contact support on this one since I paid for the upgrade and am supposed to have these working...I had this happen to Prx X4 or earlier if I remember correctly and it may have corrected itself eventually also...I do not remember.

Hi.

The problem with missing plug-ins only ever effected shop downloads on my system and not the additional main third party effects packs. It could be an internet speed thing but I don't think so.

I've had to reinstall MEP today because of an unrelated incident and it's already stable and working.

Have you actually registered the products after downloading?

I get all the way to this point and when I re-open VPX11 it still shows waiting to download...

What's at the bottom of the left hand side that shows all the downloaded effects?

The box you are seeing is what you always get when you have pressed scan. That is mainly useless and can be ignored for this bit, but you need to scroll down that list on the left below the last showing effect of the ProDad plug-in effect.

My menu tree seems to be the problem. There are so very many FX (some I'm sure are older and not activated) and I cannot view them very easily. I found them mostly...although, it seems new blue elements fx do not say if they are in fact the 3 ultimate version. They do not all seem to be in alphabetical order either. I opened the plug in manager and saw them in there first and looked closer at my menu tree...

I agree it's a mess to look at. I've started to take screen grabs of before and after to try to notice differences.

Some are easier to spot than others, and others seem to group with existing effects.
