Fades doesn't show once the video is exporter

Hi everyone,

This is driving me crazy. I created a video with several fades between tracks. When I preview them in the timeline, everything shows well and the fades work fine. But then I export the video, and they don't appear.

I tried several fades and lenghts, but it happens again and again in the exported video. I even tried exporting it as mov or avi, with the same results.

I use MEP 2014 Plus, on an i7 with 16 Gb of memory, 1 Gb video memory and 1 Tb HD, a fairly new machine.

Any help with this will be really appreciated, as this is driving me mad!

Diego

Just found the solution. Calculate video effects on GPU needed to be activated in the export screen.

Hi

That is a little odd because that should not be necessary for the fades to render at export.

Maybe try resetting the program settings to defaults.

I agree with Ss -  if the Calculate video effects on GPU is turned off then the processor is used instead.

Are you using the integrated HD graphics of the processor ie QuickSync or an additional graphics card that uses CUDA or OpenCL?

Do you have Hardware Acceeleration turned on in the porgrams settings?

Hi John and Ss,

Thank you for your messages. Yes, I am using the integrated graphics (Intel). The oddest part is that those fades rendered in the exported version once I applied the "Calculate video effects on GPU", and the video mode for the preview is Standard mode (Direct3D).
