Film und Export Einstellung

Hi,

Was muss man bei erweiterte Exporteinstellungen beachtet?

Hi.

How will the TV be receiving the video? You should look at the TVs manual to see what files or frame rates it can show and export accordingly. Unless the recording camera is using files of more than 12 bit colour or has UHD capability there is little point in exporting the file as such. Use the Export As option to export your file to MP4 and choose Best as the export option. The GOP structure already there should be OK. Unless your video contains no fades or effects including changes to colour etc then the export will be re-encoded and will have some degradation as it will no longer be a direct copy of the original. That can not be avoided although it should be very close to the original if the highest quality available for the frame rate and resolution settings are used.

Hi Ray,

thanks for the answer. I will connect the film to my UHD 4K TV via Extern HD. The standard settings of the export are higher than the raw film. I don't want to create a large file unnecessarily without a better quality. Do I have to adjust the bit rate? Pictures as an example:

@Shahin

Hi.

If you find that watching your final video is not very satisfying you could try using the preset for 4K in the settings but then alter the resolution back to 1080p. That will give you a higher bit rate more safely than trying to guess what the numbers should be, as getting them wrong can be detrimental to the export. (sometimes I have found the export will abort with the wrong bit rate settings.) I personally would not change the actual resolution of the file from its native resolution and rely on the TV for re-scaling the image. The image of the other settings look fine.
