Font color and size of template Timecode

Greetings,

I am using MEP 2019 Premium. The only way I know how to add a timecode to the video is to use the Basic Timecode template.

This works great, but is there a way to:

1. Change the color

2. Change the font style

I've played around with adding Color effect, but this gives it a shade, but not the actual color. For instance RGB 100,0,0 gives a light pink, but not red.

Thanks

I'm using MEPP 2016 and 2017 and played around with some success as shown here:

Also try some of the other sliders.

Thanks Terrypin, I also have MEP 17 (not to be confused with MEP 2017). It allowed you to set a timecode size/color by right clicking on the preview screen. Now it is hidden under Templates ->Basic Timecode. To change the color by adding an effect seems more complicated than it should be - but that being said, it works. I tinkered with the Artistic tool and found a setting that worked similar to what you suggested. I very much appreciate the tip. I've really like Magix's products, but at times they implement features rather counter-intuitively. Text size is adjustable by enlarging the "textbox", but boldness needed the dilate setting.
