"Foreign Transaction Fee"

I'm located in the USA, and I noticed on my credit card that Magix charged me a foreign transaction fee. Since there is no free CSR line I have to ask what this fee is for on this forum. There is zero information about this fee in the Movie Edit Pro Plus manual or on the help tab inside of the program itself. 1. Why is this fee being charged to me. 2. Is this a one time fee or a recurring fee? 3. What is the EULA? So far this forum has been very responsive and helpful and I appreciate it, but this fee (even though its a small fee around $1.50 US) should be explained thoroughly on your website somewhere. I can't find anything explaining it. Thank you!

@Earl-Soldier

Hi

. . . . Why is this fee being charged to me. . . . .

A foreign transaction fee is a surcharge on your bill that appears when you make a purchase through a foreign bank, or is in another currency.

Did you buy through the US website or another and pay in $US or a different currency eg Euros?

Check with the credit card issuer it is them making the charge.

. . . . What is the EULA . . . .

EULA - is the End User Licence Agreement.
