Check on the top menu 'Help' >> 'About MAGIX (your program name)...' to see if your serial number has been registered. It will be something lilke P2-88547-66870-68534-xxxxx-yyyyy-zzzzz. You are usually prompted at the program startup to either enter a serial number or continue using the download version in demo mode for a limited time.

The serial number is registered. It does show up in Help-About Magix. I aws able to geta codec already.

Unable to run extras for program that I downloded from Help menu. Any ideas on how to UNLOCK?

Two more possibilities... Unlocking used to be a more common issue and Magix offered a little utility called IIRC 'UnlockMaster' https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/taxonomy/term/3444 Sorry I didn't remember it the first time from so long ago.

There is another possible trick: Set your timezone to match the country of the download and reinstall your program -- do an un-install first, not a 'repair'. Eg I downloaded from the UK site but live in Australia so set the zone to GMT +0hr rather than +9.5.

I am in a bit of a predicament- I do not have any cds for the program so have no cd numbers to enter into UNLOCK MASTER and can not do a reinstall. I have the download version which was downloaded from their purchase page. I paid $$$ for it and received a serial # by email so it works. Also able to get codecs it appears BUT have a stripped down bare bones program that appears to be identical to the TRIAL version. No bells and whistles. I can download the extra parts of the program BUT they do not run because it is locked. UNLOCK master fails as it apparently revolves around the idea I have cds.

SO a reinstall is not possible unless I download the TRIAL version.

Have sent a request to Magix ...hope it comes

Just to let you know. The issue is resolved thanks to help of the support team at Magix.

Will definitely buy more Magix products with this great support staff.

Now have a full blown program and can not wait to produce super videos.....Thank you
