Getting Snapshots from Imported AVI videos

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of 'extracting' a single frame (Snapshot) from a pre-recorded (and uploaded) video AVI file? Ideally a straightforward method is what I am looking for.

Hello RHWB,

Here is a straightforward answer: Go to File, scroll down to Emport Movie, scroll down to Single frames as Jpeg. That should do it.
