Great problem with video export

marco6 wrote on 5/16/2017, 2:36 AM

Hi all. I've Magix movie edit premium 2017 with this important problem with text in export! We've the Expo the next week and we need the video for monday!

a) This is the project preview (all ok):

b) This is the result....

Why this? Can anyone help me please? The image and the text are in movement (PNG with transparent background).

Thanks,

Marco

Hi.

First, is it only this pair of text objects that give this problem? I see you have a number of such objects on the timeline.

Second, can you open the text editor for each of these text objects and post a screenshot of both the editor screens? My suspicion is that the two objects may be "overlapping" each other, such that the transparent background of the one is covering the text of the other.

Hi emmrecs.
Yes, the problem is on all the text (I've copied and pasted from the first :)

I post 2 screenshot (1st and 2nd text). The rest in timeline is the same.

Yes, I think there is some "overlapping" problem or similar.

I already try "white background" and "black background", but nothing change.

marco6 wrote on 5/16/2017, 4:26 AM

of course this can help you! This is the problem, sure!

Mrku wrote on 5/16/2017, 4:30 AM

Have you tried to change the font?

marco6 wrote on 5/16/2017, 4:45 AM

UPDATE: if you delet the movement of the text, there is no problem! So I think the problem is in text movement on the image area. Actually the text go from right to left, and the image from left to right.

alessiotonilo yes but nothing change. Tried to not include text shadow but nothing solved.

marco6 wrote on 5/16/2017, 5:19 AM

UPDATE 2: with default movement effects applied to the text, there are no problems...

marco6 wrote on 5/16/2017, 7:09 AM

no one understand why this? :(

emmrecs wrote on 5/16/2017, 8:24 AM

Hello again marco6.

I think the reason may be somehow connected with the fact that you are not using the standard movement facility. As you discovered, if you do use one of the built-in movement templates, the issue does not occur. I've not yet had any time to really experiment with this but what you need is the ability to "stop" the movement of your texts before they pass the edge of the screen; at the moment I can see no way to do that but I hope to be able to experiment more later this afternoon.

Hopefully, other, more experienced users may see this thread and respond in the meantime.

Hi John

I suspect marco6 is using imported png graphics for his "titles" and is trying to manipulate their movements using keyframes. That seems to be where the problem originates, (unless, of course, I'm completely misunderstanding what he is trying to do).

Jeff,

Doesn't the purple indicate that the titles are text objects?

Hi

I am pretty sure this was fixed in the latest 16.0.3.66 patch John EB mentioned - "Fixed bug when mixing videos (reduced video does not cover the entire background anymore)".

Did you scroll downwards on the timeline to make sure that there is nothing hidden away on the higher numbered tracks?

I suggest you make the smallest project that demonstrates this problem using File > Backup > Copy project and media into a folder, zip it up and upload it to a host site (I use Dropbox for instance) so that we can see what you mean and maybe try to reproduce it.

OK Marco, thanks.

Using MEP Premium (alias MEP 2017), version 16.0.3.66 (UDP3), I exported a short MP4 of a section near your example. That plays identically to the preview. I'm now burning the project and will post again shortly.

Thank you very much Terry. We've the Expo Monday, I've finished with depliants, now I can concentrate on the video

terrypin wrote on 5/19/2017, 3:22 AM

The cause of your problem is that your mask video is not zooming to full screen.

You can fix that simply by applying a fixed zoom of about 110% to it on the timeline.

An alternative would be to change the text font size of any affected sections from 34 to 32.

There appears nothing wrong with the burning. A preview, an export, and a burn all show the same here.

I found what is the problem,

it's the justification of the text that is set to the left or to right ...
Instead of this, you have to set it in the middle

so the field coincides with the text.
Naturally after it, you have to adjust the text position
