Handware Acceleration turned on but doesn't work

Hey!
Here are my specs:
AMD Phenom 9950 Quad-Core Processor 2.60 GHz
RAM 8GB
Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
I try to render a video which is 1080p / 29,97fps and around 1 hour long.

I turned every possibility to use hardware acceleration on.
But in the export it says "no hardware acceleration" and the render time is around 12 hours...

With other programs I tried, the render time is about 2-3 hours because it uses hardware acceleration and something called CUBA(?).

The problem is just I like working with the magix programs. They are pretty easy to use.
But I also want it to use hardware acceleration. How can I do that?

Hi

Magix Hardware acceleration for export only works if you have an Intel processor with an integrated Intel HD Graphics GPU. The most recent version of Video ProX has the ability to HW accelerate H.265 HEVC (only) via a discreet Nvidia GTX10xx series card such as your 1050 Ti. This does not use CUDA but a separate hardware chip NVENC on the Nvidia card.

One thing that might speed up your non HW accelerated exports is to purchase the Main Concept codec from Magix. This encodes much faster than the default Intel codec on software exports.

Thanks for your answer! So I need to export everything as H.265. I will try that and have a look at that Main Concept Codec!

So long as you are aware that there are not that many devices that can play H.265 files apart from very recent TV's, phones and Windows players.
