I have an old copy of Music Maker Premium 2012, however I am having problems uninstalling it to make a fresh install after making the mistake of moving all of the program contents from the c: drive to the d: drive.
After making the mistake of moving things I shouldn’t I had to purchase a new hard drive as that one went down.
The original Music Maker premium 2012 was put on the c drive of hard drive 1 and moved to the what is now my old hard drive to the d: drive on there.
Unfortunately I have no d drive at the moment as I still need a sata caddy to transfer all my files off the old hard drive.
I do have a new hard drive now, and have removed all of the contents of Music maker premium 2012 that remained on Hard drive 1 so I can either repair it or uninstall it.
I have the original program disk which was new at the time and have only used a few times unfortunately and feel I've wasted my money.
However when I try to repair or uninstall it won’t let me saying it can’t locate the D: drive or something to that degree,( can’t remember exactly what it says, but something about the D: drive anyway.)
I have discussed this issue with a friend of mine saying that I can’t uninstall the program either, he has says there might still be some information written something maybe permenant to my computer. That is now corrupted on the hard drive 1 c: drive through moving it to the d: on the old hard drive., and can’t be accessed as I have a new hard drive, yet is still on the hard drive 1 C drive.
He says there might be another way of removing it, however he did say one option was to format the C: drive is what I really can’t afford to do or going into the Command prompt which he doesn't want to do.
