Hiccup in playback after exporting

tchapman wrote on 2/1/2014, 6:18 PM

I am trying to export a 30 second video in Movie Edit Pro 2013 Premium. No matter what file type I export to, one video clip 'hiccups' every time. All the other clips and images play back smoothly. Everything plays back smoothly when I play it in the preview mode in the program. What would cause the 'hiccup' when exporting and how can I stop it from happening?

I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit

Update: I tried starting up my computer fresh and only opening Magix, then exporting again. Now the 'hiccup' is gone. I suspect that some other program that I had opened earlier in the day was interfering somehow with the memory or ??? Regardless, it seems to be resolved.

Thank you John for your advice...I will keep it in mind in case I have other issues like this!

Hi

Make a note of the time where the 'hiccup' occurs, then open the project and move the timeline cursor to just before the point where the video 'hiccups' -  zoom in on the timeline.

Using the arrow keys step through the timeline - you should then see the exact point of the 'hiccup' - zoom in furhter at this point.

I suspect you either have a small gap in the video or a stray object - check all tracks if you cannot see it
