How can I get my video during edit to run the correct speed

hollis3 wrote on 7/8/2014, 2:52 PM

Started up MEP17 plus today and and my videos run jerky, at slower speed. By moving the shuttle slider to 1.0, the video runs at real speed.

I've tried changing speed in Effects but no joy.

Video is from GoPro Hero3, and I believe that it is 960 @ 30fps.

Now even older projects/movies that had no previous problems, now run jerky as well.

What can it be?  Thanks.

Hi

Are you refering to playback in the Preview monitor running jerkily?

If so was this runing smoothly before?

What has changed on the computer ie have you installed new software, upgraded your anti virus program etc?

What is the full specification of your computer?

John

Update:  I shut everything down and Restarted computer.

Created new project and imported file. Dialog box said:  Active Movie is 720x480 (16:9) and file video is 1280x960 (4:3) would you like to adjust preview monitor to movie (something like that)? ~   I chose not to adjust.

All is working now. I suspect the reboot was the solution.
