Similar to Final Cut, I would like to click over on a video or audio format, and be able to hear the audio frame by frame for more precise editing. Is there I way I can do this? Currently, I can move along the video frame by frame without any audio. I only receive audio if it is in full playback mode.
I am using Movie Editor Pro 2014 Plus.

Like Final Cut, MEP uses the term scrubbing for this action. There are quite a few options. You will find details if you search in the Help file from the top menu or in the pdf manual (pg 183?) that comes with your program.

Select the sound track and using right mouse button Set video and audio offset you can adjust increse or decrease the offset from one frame to x frames. This is easier than scrubbing function. You compare a professional version like Final Cut to MEP version check the price between the factor is around 15 less or more. Also you can push on more action if you read the manual and try.
