How can or is it possible to record a live feed (webcam + audio) while playing back a clip? Specifically I want to play guitar to a video clip and record the results.

I want to play guitar with Stevie and his brother.I would usually use "Acid Music Studio Pro 7.0 I would like to do it all from within Movie Edit Pro 15. All the connections are made and are working properly. I have tried using the "Video Record" function. I can record OK then place the results as a clip but I would like to play along with the clip and record the results.

I recommend using a musicprogram e.g. Samplitude to record the music and not a videoprogram

In samplitude it's possible to add video an play along.
