The model is indicated right at the top left of the program - Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus - in my case. If there is no Plus or Premium, then you have the regular basic version. You can also see this in Help, About, along with the revision number.
I don't know what all is on the CD(s) that come in the boxed version. You should have installed everything, including much of what shows up on the following screen that I get when I go to Help, Free Download:
When you look at the Media pool, Movie templates, you should see more or less the following:
When you look at Fades, Titles and Effects, Design elements, Image objects, Fun, you should have a lot. Under Effects, you should see a screen like this:
If you don't then you have not installed everything. Check the instructions carefully that came with the box.
It may be that you have to register first. Did you put in your serial code and register? If not, then you are working with a trial version and the addons will not be there. That is the case with us who buy on line.
Its probably the Basic Version because I does not say Plus or Premium.
When I go to help, I dont get Free Download option, like you do.
The Help > About says > MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2014 Version 13.0.2.8
I cant find anything called the Media Pool, under Import.
The CD has no folder with templates in it. I have below a screenshot of what it contains.I hope I have not been duped. Both this SW because they promised all the templates.
After you installed the program, did you put in the serial number and register it? If not, then the Free download will not show up under Help.
In my previous screen shots, the second one is of the Media Pool. It is the upper right window in MEP, with the tabs Import, Fades, Title, Effects. Do you at least see this Window as I showed in my message?
