Should be no problem. When you start MEP Plus, choose 'Load existing project'. The screen shot shows I have already saved a project (goldfish.mvp) but yours will be blank. Navigate to where you saved your project with the other program and choose it.

Do take care where your project next gets saved so that you can more easily find it.
