How do I get new sounds

(sorry I accidently posted this twice, but if you could answer either one, that'd be great haha :))

I was given Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium as a Christmas present and am really excited to use it, but the instruments sound really 'techno'-ey. I downloaded it with the free soundpool stuff, but since I didn't really love any of the instruments, I found ones on catooh in 'audio' loops so I bought those. However, I want to change how they sound (the melody, the beat, etc.) and I've spent two weeks scouring the internet and the info that came with it, but nothing has helped me. Can I not change the melody of them? I don't want to create a sound that anyone else could manufacture; I want it to be unique- that's why I wanted this. How do I get the instrument sounds I want and be able to control their melody, beat, etc.?

The instruments I'm looking for (if it matters) are:

Vibraphone

Toy Piano

Celesta

Marimba

Authentic sounding piano

Authentic sounding harp

*When I say 'authentic', I'm looking for something acoustic.

Please help me if you have any advice; I'm really stuck. I can't use this amazing program if I don't have the instruments I need on it, and then it ends up being not so amazing :(

I do know what you mean. Cut, splice, layer, experiment with harmonies, stretch and compress tempos, play with different combinations. And/or use the midi object editor to make your own melodies. Admitedly, the variety of voices in the midi editor could be wider, but use your imagination.

I'm starting to experiment with converting 4/4 time soundloops into 3/4 time. I expect it will take a LOT of cutting.
