Hi - not a lot of information to go on - Windows version and computer specification plus free space on hard drive would help - see this post.

Look in the program settings to find where the Recordings folder is located, then using Windows Explorer check that the folder exists and you can create and delete a file in it.

Also try creating a new folder in your Documents (My Documents) folder and change the Recordings setting to this new folder and try recording to this folder
