How do I use a microkorg as a synthesizer/controller in Magix Music Maker 16?

I am running Windows XP and I have all of the correct cords to plug my keyboard in, but for some reason, Makix Music Maker 16 isn't using it in VITA.

Presumably you are using the microKorg midi output to your PC's midi input.

You need check that the device is recognised by Windows and set as an input device in MMM.

Thank you, that worked. I am now having a problem with the timing. When I press a key, no noise is made until about a second after I press it. The key turns red on screen as soon as I press it, but the noise is delayed

ok I installed it, but I'm not sure how to get it to pop up in that menu. I tried switching to direct sound, whcih helped, but it doesn't have very high capabilities.
