How do i use mdmi keyboard?

I am trying to use AKAI Professional Synth Station 25 with Music Maker 16. It shows up in the program under program setings but does not show up in my PCs control panal as a recording device. How can i get it to record as a mdmi or is it even possable?Please help!!
