How do you add the copyright symbol to a video using Magix Pro 2013

I am trying to add the copyright symbol to video footage I am editing using Magix Movie Edit Pro 2013 but the Alt + 0169 isn't working.

Sorry I don't have MEP 2013 on this machine, but © certainly is working in MEP 2014. Are you doing it as part of a title? This example is the default pick from the standard presets:

An alternative would be to type Alt + 0169 into a simple graphics/paint program with a background color you can make transparent and then import the image and apply chroma key.

What does it give you?

Which font are you using?

Did you try another font?

Did you try copying it in from the Windows Character Map?

Do you have Num Lock off or on?

What does it give you? It doesn't give me anything. I am trying to type it in a title box but nothing is happening.

Also checked MEP 2013 and all is fine.

Does the Alt + 0169 work for other programs like Notepad or Wordpad? If so try a cut and paste from there to MEP?

Thanks guys for all the help. I finally got it to work by using the character map.
