Nevermind. I figured it out! I thought I had to "convert" it but I actually only have to "export" it. It is now converting. Thank  you!

There are various formats available. I use 1280x720, which I find gives a suitable result. On the parameters screen, at the top, click on Display all presets. I select the 1280.... and then change the frame rate to 29.97 to fit with my video.

It creates an MP4 along with some other files that you don't need. Then just upload the MP4 file.

In addition to John CBs answer check out this article for the recommended export settings to use, and use the Youtube uploader for the mp4 file,  not the one in MEP.
