You can't delete vocals that are on a CD. You can only rip the CD, remove the vocals, and burn a new CD.

Sounds like you just need the instrumental version of the song, what you want isn't possible with this software!

I am at my office now and my Music Maker 10 is at home. You're saying that:
"multitrack, "song name, artist" will delete the vocals (take every instrument channel from the song).
I'm not a pro at all at this...Music Maker 10 is an older version. But hey, I'll give it a shot...just not sure how to do it. Thank you so much!!!
So far, Karlito17 hasn't said anything that is of any use (or makes sense). And yes, you may be able to find and purchase a karaoke CD with the song(s) you want, but that was not the question. And yungthurm is incorrect....it IS possible with this software (MMM)...It's just not consistantly effective in all cases. I know because I've done it successfully myself. I can't post a sample because I used copyrighted material.
Like I said originally, you would use the Karaoke feature...that's what it's for. You'd rip the song(s) from the CD > Import the song into a new arrangement > Go to the Templates section and click and drag the Karaoke effect onto the imported material and let it process > Play the arrangement > If acceptable, export the track.
If you're lucky, it will do the job satisfactorily. However, the results are not always ideal, but sometime it is.
