Hi,

This tutorial might help you and so will reading the first part of the manual. Or is there something more complicated than selecting the first slide, clicking on the T button (not the T key on your computer keyboard) on the screen to create a title?

Thanks but my first picture already has a title added re. the picture, not an intro title. I have got round it by putting another picture before that and adding the intro title there.

However this is not what I had in mind which was a blank background to which you add an animated title. Magix doesn't seem to have that as fas as I can see. If I simpply create a title it shoves that at the far end and I cannot move it. In fact I cannot move any title from where it is located unlike picture positions.

Cheers, Barrie

Hi Barrie,

You need to insert an image at the beginning and then create the title on this. It can be a photo or any jpeg image. There should be some under Effects somewhere, like Background under some title that has decorative effects. There should be different coloured backgrounds.

I'm not at my computer so I can't help much more.

Hi,

You haven't told us what version of MEP you're using, but I believe all of them have animated titles. Just place one at an empty part of the track or over an image or video.

Did you follow John's suggestion to study the introductory section of the manual? These basics are all there.
