How to capture date and time of video?

When trying to record a video using an IEEE feed, I cannot figure out how to capture the date and time stamp of the particular vidoe. Whenver I begin recording the video it drops off this stamp.

I'm afraid the current Magix video programs don't support the utilization of the DV time stamp information.
