How To Create Animated Floating Windows in 3D Video Projects with MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus

Greatings,

I know this technique can be done with Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects, I know it can be done in Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12, I know that Final Cut Pro (for MAC computers) has a plugin for it, I know that Stereo Photo Maker (not their Stereo Movie Maker product for some reason) can do this poorly, and no doubt there are other programs, too, which have the capability.  But I am trying to see if MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus has a floating windows function, as well.

A couple of weeks ago (today is October 3, 2013), I bought Movie Edit Pro and I do not see floating windows demonstrated anywhere in the video tutorials, or mentioned in the instructions.  What I want to do is create animated floating windows dynamically in my 3D videos.  In the actual editing process of 3D video, you can more readily think of floating windows as "animated cropping" or "dynamic cropping."  Anyway, I searched your forums, and the closest answer I saw is located here:

Floating Window

Floating windows are used in Hollywood 3D movie productions to control window (or edge) violations when something in the negative space (what comes out of sceen towards the viewer) happens to cross the edge of the movie screen.  In real life things in back (in this case, the movie screen is in back) obviously cannot block what is in front of it (in this case, what pops out of the movie screen).  This causes confusion to the viewer, and as a result the viewer not only gets a headache, but the 3D effect is also lost.  Hense, floating windows were created and invented back in the 1950's, and has been relatively recently perfected, in this new golden age of 3D movies, to help to fix that perplexity.

Since this corrective action is so well known in the industry, I thought  it would be evident for Movie Edit Pro to have it built in.  Hopefully, I am correct.  If not then maybe you can help me do a workaround.  What I thought about is doing some sort of manipulation with keyframes.  Can you assist me in how to do animated cropping using keyframes, or whatever else Movie Edit Pro can use in accomplishing this feat?

For you to see floating windows in action, I searched YouTube and found an extremely well done short seven (7) minute video.  To see how the animated cropping works, just look at the following 3D video WITHOUT your anaglyph 3D glasses.  The floating window / animated cropping was done with regular non-professional 3D software by an amateur film maker.  Just look at how skillfully it was done.  Ignore  the video and just focus on the red and blue AUTOMATIC animated cropping on the left and right edges.  Each eye view (left and right) was processed separately.  The floating window here is mild; I have seen other 3D videos where the animated cropping vibrates heywire crazy.  You can notice the same thing on select Hollywood 3D motion pictures - especially those produced by Disney Studios.  Just take off your 3D glasses at the theater and see for yourself.

Thank you for your efforts in my behalf.

Hi

As no one has come back with an answer to this question, it is reasonable to assume that no one knows the answer.

Further bumping of the question is not necessary.

I would suggest you email support at Magix and ask them the same question.
